This week we have a rare slasher that you never really hear much about. Apparently banned in German for some time, we have found a great quality uncut print from Japan. Although there isn't an over abundance of gore that you would think warranted it being banned, it still is a formulaic film that fans of the genre should enjoy.......
A girl is having problems with her extremely possessive boyfriend who continually stalks and harrasses her. She decides to takes her girlfriends advice to get away for the summer and the two girls hear to a vacation cabin located on Lake Tenkiller.
The girls settle in right away by getting jobs at the local diner and meeting the local residents of the lake. Mysterious murders begin to happen though and it seems like the two girls are likely the next targets. Is there a connection to the murders and the old legend of Tenkiller, is it the jealous boyfriend, or is someone else to blame?
Filmed on location in Oklahoma, this rare slasher has all the ingredients you would expect from the genre: eighties synth score, plenty of flesh on display, and over-the-top bad acting with some close-up gore.
